About the role
- Deliver principals’ volume, share, and sales fundamental goals at the lowest possible cost.
- Communicate principals’ priorities to ensure in-store presence and objectives are met.
- Report directly to the General Manager managing new principal introductions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
- Coordinate communication and collaborate on major retail initiatives.
- Leverage insights to develop conceptual sales presentations.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of strategies and suggest improvements.
- Maintain current account distribution information and review market reports.
- Proactively manage your personal skill development plan and share information.
- Ensure all client procedures are followed and monitor financial management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- A proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
- Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
- Willing to travel (local travel)
