About the role
- In-house marketing, promotion and sale of cosmetic products
- Learn detailed history of the products/companies and communicate to customers
- Set up and design displays within specified locations
- Significant point-of-sale interaction to positively impact sales volume
- Maintain cosmetic line merchandising concepts, cleanliness, organization, gondolas, visual displays, product assortment, and drawers
- Participate in day-to-day business, animation, in-store events, store meetings and training seminars
- Actively pursue additional product knowledge and artistry techniques
- Attract new clients and create high-touch customer experiences
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year make up sales or make-up artist experience preferred
- High energy person comfortable approaching and speaking with store customers
- Enjoyment in persuading people in a positive way
- Strong selling skills
- Goal oriented
- Fun and outgoing personality
- Ability to do basic beauty make-up
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain a presence on the selling floor for long periods as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical Requirements: Seeing; Color Perception; Lifting (50 lbs.); Ability to Travel; Climbing; Pushing/Pulling; Standing; Listening; Carrying (50 lbs.)
