System Administrator

• support, maintain, and evolve our Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) and related instructional technologies
• provide full-time oversight of the configuration, stability, integration, analytics, and ongoing operation of the university’s teaching and learning environment
• configure, monitor, document, and maintain Brightspace and all integrated instructional systems
• ensure that Brightspace and related systems work properly
• independently identify, track and confidently resolve system issues
• configure, document, and manage organizational hierarchy, roles, and permissions
• develop, maintain, and enhance access to learning data through standard and custom reporting
• improve efficiency and consistency through light scripting and API-based automation
• troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to system functionality and integrations
• review and monitor system integrations, system logs, and error reporting
• perform monthly testing and additional quality assurance for Brightspace and related systems
• respond to and resolve complex help desk escalations
• be available outside standard working hours to address critical or emergency issues as needed

Technical Systems Administrator

Customer Support

• Respond to, assess, and forward heavy inbound phone calls to the appropriate department or personnel
• Efficiently obtain information from Academy callers, prospective and current students, educators and/or industry contacts
• Perform heavy outbound call activities to support Academy’s Admissions efforts in setting up students for success through Open House, Campus Visits and other Academy event invites and opportunities
• Ensure Academy of Art University calls and inquiries are handled with highest level of customer satisfaction
• Effectively manage Academy’s social media marketing channels, content, campaigns and day-to-day activities
• Collaborate with Marketing and Admissions Departments to stay well-informed of Academy highlights and new program offerings
• Ensure proper protocol and procedures are followed across all Academy interactions from all communication channels

Customer Service Representative

Account Manager

• Responsible for recruitment, outreach and registration of prospective international students
• Coordinate and align strategies to meet Academy of Art University’s international enrollment goals
• Manage and lead a team of International Admissions Representatives; monitor progress, provide feedback, coaching, and accountability
• Identify, develop, evaluate and manage international educational partnerships to increase brand awareness and enrollment
• Conduct market research on international student markets and recommend strategies to executive leadership
• Implement outreach and recruitment strategies in collaboration with academic and administrative partners
• Work with international student advisors at high schools and community colleges on transfer opportunities
• Train team on initial immigration, SEVIS requirements, English proficiency standards, policies around international admissions, and transcript evaluation
• Advise on escalated matters and contribute to operational processes supporting international students
• Manage and maintain the International Admissions budget and provide regular updates to the Executive Vice President
• Coordinate and participate in recurring Admissions events, including team work schedules and event operational set-up
