About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage a portfolio of continuing students through the financial process
Answer student questions and anticipate financial concerns in a manner that is customer focused
Counsel students to ensure financial obligations are honored
Analyze and evaluate student financial need and review funding sources
Inform and advise students and parents regarding eligibility and responsibilities of financial aid programs
Review and evaluate required documentation and package awards
Provide assistance in collections and communications regarding student accounts
Track all financial aid documents
Keep students informed of their financial aid file and refund status
Run periodic reports prior to and during the term

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least one year of financial aid experience required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Passionate about student success and higher education
Empathetic, patient, and positive
Excellent phone and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Able to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
