About the role

  • Answer volunteer requests and questions
  • Assist in onboarding process for new volunteers
  • Assist with processing of terminations and resignations
  • Conduct performance review process
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager
  • File documents into appropriate volunteer files
  • Prepare new-volunteer files
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be available to perform during EST work hours
  • Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred
