About the role
- Manage the technical sales process during discovery and validation stages, partnering with AEs and CAMs
- Act as technical evangelist for Absolute Secure Endpoint and Secure Access product offerings at customers, partners, and events
- Perform detailed discovery to uncover current state, desired future state, and position technical solutions aligned to business value
- Deliver tailored technical sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and partners
- Plan, design, scope, execute, and lead Proof of Value (PoV) evaluations, define success criteria and metrics, install/configure products, and provide technical support
- Build PoV summary documents and wrap-up presentations in partnership with AE and CAM
- Handle objections and build technical champions inside accounts
- Document sales cycles and PoVs in Salesforce.com and communicate feature requests to product management
- Collaborate with channel partners and educate technical peers to uncover new sales opportunities
- Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers
Requirements
- Experience with complex technical sales cycles, including deep discovery, scoping, executing, and presenting Proof of Value (evaluations)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to IT, Network and Security managers, Line of Business owners, CIOs and CISOs
- Understanding of data-in-transit security: TLS, IPsec, VPNs, PKI, certificate management
- Understanding of network services and systems including routing and LAN/WAN design
- Familiarity with popular firewall vendors and basic rule design
- Understanding of authentication methods and protocols including SAML and RADIUS
- Understanding of AV, EDR, Incident Response, Forensics, or other endpoint/network security tools
- Strong understanding of Windows (Desktop and Server), macOS, and Linux operating systems, including network stacks
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network environments for on-premise or cloud-hosted product evaluations
- Fluent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English
- Experience working with Account Executives and Channel Account Managers in sales
- Nice to have: experience with Command of the Message, MEDDPICC, SASE, SSE, VPN, EDR, programming/scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), Cloud IaaS networking/security, security/networking certifications (CISSP, GIAC, Security+, CCNA, Network+)
- Ideal candidate located in Mexico City, Mexico (preferred)
