DevOps Engineer

• Act as the dedicated DevOps and infrastructure partner embedded directly within the Unsecured Personal Loans (UPL) engineering team.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS CDK and Terraform.
• Service the day-to-day infrastructure and deployment needs of the UPL engineers to remove technical bottlenecks.
• Architect and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, automated, and secure software delivery.
• Implement and enforce AWS best practices around security, IAM, networking, and high availability for financial products.
• Collaborate with the wider Platform team to ensure UPL systems align with company-wide architectural and governance standards.

• Build and ship high-quality product features using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Tailwind
• Lead frontend projects from concept through delivery, including technical design, implementation, testing, and iteration
• Work closely with product, backend engineering, and business stakeholders to build experiences that simplify complex mortgage journeys and make them feel fast, intuitive, and trustworthy.

• Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles across engineering and related functions
• Mentoring sourcers and recruiters
• Build and deliver proactive sourcing strategies to attract high-quality technical talent
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand requirements, define hiring approaches, and ensure alignment throughout the process
• Improve and streamline recruitment processes, and help identify and implement better tools and ways of working
• Maintain and develop our ATS (Ashby), ensuring clean data and a smooth hiring process

Account Manager

• Own the day-to-day relationships with Abound's partner network, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring they're set up to perform
• Track, report on and interpret partner performance metrics obsessively - you should be able to recite our key numbers at any moment
• Identify issues before they become problems and resolve them proactively, working cross-functionally with product, credit and operations
• Lead on new growth initiatives including GEO, testing new acquisition channels and building the playbook for scalable growth
• Support the development of our broader partnerships and growth strategy, contributing to how we think about the commercial roadmap

Communications

• Define and execute Abound's end-to-end communications strategy, covering both internal and external audiences
• Build and own our media and PR presence - identify the right press, agency partners and spokespeople; secure meaningful coverage in the publications our target audiences actually read
• Source, onboard and manage external agencies or freelancers needed to scale the function effectively
• Be a skilled writer and editor across all formats: blog posts, press releases, exec communications, investor updates and more
• Act as a spokesperson where appropriate and coach internal leaders to communicate with clarity and confidence
• Develop our employer brand narrative to help us attract exceptional people
• Build our investor comms playbook - ensuring our story lands clearly and compellingly with current and prospective investors
