Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through completion across sustaining engineering, operations process optimization, quality improvements, and commercial and compliance readiness.
Responsible for all aspects of project planning, cross-functional coordination, and progress reporting.
Manage high priority strategic projects and report project health status to the PMO and management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
Direct and support technical activities such as design changes, technical reviews, verification and validation, and regulatory submissions.
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a medical device manufacturing, engineering, or quality-focused environment.
PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience working with external suppliers.
Effective stakeholder management both internally and externally.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of development processes consistent with ISO and FDA design control standards and risk management practices.
Demonstrated ability to integrate information from Engineering, R&D, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs.
Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
