About the role

  • Primary point of contact for automation accounts covering technical support and customer experience.
  • Provide ongoing proactive product support and improve customer loyalty and retention.
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Provide Level I and Level II phone and on-site support; perform proactive service support activities.
  • Troubleshoot to identify root cause and implement solutions; record documentation of customer complaints.
  • Plan and prioritize customer visits; prepare and execute training events to improve customer self-sufficiency.
  • Coordinate order delivery and billing; monitor and replenish inventory.
  • Partner with Enterprise Account Manager/Sales to develop account-specific lab strategy and achieve revenue goals.
  • Accountable for parts utilization within budget and trunk inventory accuracy.
  • Contribute to CAPA system effectiveness with accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience with instrumentation utilized in a laboratory environment.
  • 2 years of experience interfacing with customers.
  • Able to travel up to 75%.
  • Provide Level I and Level II phone and on-site support for hardware, software, and reagent issues.
  • Responsible for documentation of customer complaints and actions taken to resolve concerns.
