About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic IT vendors, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Lead regular business reviews to assess vendor performance, resolve issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives related to vendor engagements.
- Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities, rationalize vendor portfolios, and improve ROI.
- Support invoice validation, dispute resolution, and vendor payment processes in collaboration with finance and procurement.
- Support contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with IT strategy and licensing best practices.
Requirements
- Overall, 10-15 years of experience including 7+ years in Vendor Management.
- Proven track record managing large-scale IT vendor portfolios and complex contract negotiations.
- Strong understanding of IT services, software licensing, cloud agreements, and outsourcing models.
- Exposure to legal processes/principles, pricing constructs and commercial best practices - confidentiality, data security and privacy.
- Multi-faceted approach to relationship management to include a broad range of communication and problem-solving skills (accommodation, flexibility, support, understanding and more).
- Experience in packaging high-quality documents with a meticulous attention to detail.
