About the role

  • Provide strategic guidance on Employee Relations and performance management practices.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure fair, consistent, and effective application of corrective action processes.
  • Proactively identify compliance gaps, mitigate risk, and balance business priorities with employee experience and organizational standards.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and serve as a credible, proactive resource to continuously strengthen Employee Relations capabilities.
  • Coach and guide leaders through the full performance cycle—coaching, documented improvement plans, and corrective action.
  • Conduct fact-finding for moderate-complexity performance issues, escalate high-risk matters, and implement corrective or disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Proactively identify systemic risk areas and compliance gaps; collaborate with leaders to resolve those risks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in HR consulting, specifically employee relations.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in management consulting, performance management, performance improvement, organizational development, employee relations, and workplace investigations.
  • Skilled in influencing, coaching, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret employee relations data to drive proactive solutions and strategic improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with audiences at all levels while conveying information with confidence and clarity.
  • Broad knowledge of HR industry and business practices and operations.
  • Strong investigative capabilities—structured approach, neutral interviewing, precise documentation.
