About the role
- Act as technical lead for the administration and maintenance of SAP BI application and its associated infrastructure
- Maintain SAP BusinessObjects 4.2 SP9 Patch 6 with WebLogic 10.3.6 and Tomcat 9
- Manage Windows AD SSO for CRB domain and Azure Application Proxy configurations
- Provide technical recommendations and inputs into architectural decisions
- Develop best practices and standards for administration and maintenance
- Implement new integration, maintenance automations, fixes to improve application performance and security
- Optimize application performance through appropriate troubleshooting of issues
- Mentor junior team members and conduct environmental and infrastructure reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application access-related issues
- Proactive monitoring, log analysis, and root cause identification
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects platform administration and operations
- Advanced knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise platform
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and database optimization
- Extensive experience with SAP BusinessObjects 4.2 administration
- WebLogic 10.3.6 and Tomcat 9 administration experience
- Experience with Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) and APS tuning
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019 and RHEL troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Windows AD SSO, SAML, and certificate-based authentication
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts
- Proven experience in leading technical projects
- Basic understanding of SAP BusinessObjects development
- Exceptional analysis skills to prepare application for further use or consumption
