About the role

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with Vietnamese accounting practices.
  • Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports for management review.
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and supplier payments.
  • Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Post routine journal entries for expenses, revenues, and adjustments.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and identify discrepancies for correction.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for Vietnam entity.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly tax declarations.
  • Ensure proper filing and storage of tax-related documents.
  • Support compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations under the guidance of management or external accountant.
  • Prepare and organize supporting documents required for internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with auditors by providing requested schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely responses to audit queries and help implement audit recommendations.
  • Maintain proper archiving of audit files and working papers.
  • Provide bookkeeping assistance for our Singapore office, including basic transaction processing and document organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software – MISA online
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
