About the role
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities in the UK Facilities Management market (CAFM).
- Engage FM stakeholders to understand their needs and align them with our CAFM/FM software.
- Run discovery conversations and position VertiGIS FM as a COTS platform with solution capability.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and events that drive pipeline.
- Lead bid and proposal activity by coordinating inputs from pre‑sales, product, and delivery teams.
- Use a consultative selling approach to guide customers through the sales process.
- Manage opportunities and forecasting accurately in Salesforce.
- Represent the business at FM industry events and build strong customer relationships.
- Support go‑to‑market activities for the UK launch of VertiGIS FM.
Requirements
- CAFM Market Insight: Demonstrate strong understanding of the CAFM landscape, including industry trends, customer challenges, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to identify target market segments and contribute to a clear, effective go-to-market strategy.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire sales cycle and ensuring a positive, credible customer experience.
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the CAFM market, applying a consultative approach to assess customer needs and build a healthy, sustainable pipeline.
- Active CRM Management: Manage opportunities proactively within Salesforce, maintaining accurate forecasting and incorporating insights gathered from multiple customer stakeholders to progress deals effectively through the pipeline.
- Consultative Selling: Apply strong consultative skills to understand customer needs, ask insightful questions, offer informed guidance, and shape solutions that genuinely align with client objectives.
- Winning Proposals Through Collaboration: Lead the creation of customer-focused proposals by coordinating inputs from marketing, presales, product, and delivery teams. Use strong communication and emotional intelligence to bring together high quality, competitive bids that clearly address customer needs.
