Supply Chain

• Help support the day-to-day movement of inventory across Metronet’s supply chain
• Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments from suppliers to Metronet’s facilities
• Facilitate the transfer of inventory movement between 60+ market warehouses
• Work with strategic partners (3PL partners, carriers) to achieve and exceed cost and service metrics
• Assist with the onboarding of vendors to Metronet’s Vendor Compliance Manual
• Schedule freight movement through carriers & preferred 3PL partner(s)
• Update and maintain centralized recordkeeping of market warehouses and contact information
• Establish and document standard operating procedures and process maps
• Analyze data and produce reporting for management
• Audit freight invoices for accuracy

Logistics Coordinator

• Responsible for translating operational needs into logistical actions
• Mitigating risks and ensuring data integrity throughout the supply chain
• Coordinate the inbound and outbound flow of goods, materials, and equipment
• Partner with transportation providers to schedule shipments
• Monitor real-time tracking of shipments and proactively communicate progress
• Collaborate with departments to align logistics with operational needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments
• Prepare detailed reports for management regarding shipping performance
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and ensure timely resolution
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners

• Perform cycle counting to ensure the accuracy of inventory records, maintaining the most up to date, and efficient methods of inventory control available
• You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
• When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
• When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
• Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights
• May organize, implement, adjust, and monitor cycle counts
• Develop, monitor and maintain records of adjustments to inventory, working with warehouse personnel to resolve any errors
• Follow up on customer shortages or other errors
• Create and support strong trusting working relationships within team
• Provides recommendations on process improvement and may assist in implementation
• Be cross-functional in multiple areas of the warehouse
• Has a clear understanding of the receiving and pulling processes
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to review and provide suggestions aimed to improve operational efficiency
• Reviews & organizes warehouse bin locations
• Daily cycle counting and Put Away Audit

Inventory Control Specialist – 2nd Shift

• Analyze reagent/analyzer contracts for renegotiation leverage and conversion opportunities
• Evaluate analyzer platform consolidation across 6 CHSLI hospitals
• Review reference laboratory contracts (send-out testing, esoteric testing, genetics)
• Assess blood bank utilization, product wastage, crossmatch ratios
• Conduct POCT program reviews for consolidation and vendor standardization
• Work with Lab Directors, Pathologists, Medical Directors, and Technical Supervisors

Laboratory Supply Chain Manager

• Evaluate incoming shipments to determine equipment routing
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment, managing ship dates to effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure accurate tracking of shipments by vendors, including updating serial numbers and other relevant information in the tracking system.
• Track shipments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing any issues or discrepancies.
• Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery process, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to find solutions.
• Support the management, revisions, and distribution of the shipping guidance process, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of shipping procedures and requirements.
• Coordinate with the onsite teams to understand their equipment needs by specified dates and validate them against current ship dates.
• Identify risks and potential delays in equipment delivery and communicate them to senior leadership for evaluation.
• Assist senior leadership in evaluating and adjusting equipment allocations at a program level, based on identified risks and priorities.
• Coordinate business process documentation and improvement strategies with internal stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.
• Establish business metrics and reports to monitor and improve equipment delivery.
