About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain the production plan using analytics and business intelligence in collaboration with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Operations and Finance
- Analyze demand to determine a stocking strategy and target inventory level for each product
- Review unit forecast and sales data to develop a rolling 18 month production plan for internal and external manufacturing facilities
- Issue and manage orders to lead-time for stocked items
- Provide customer service with available-to-promise and product lead-time data
- Monitor sales orders for manufactured-to-order items and issue orders to internal and external manufacturing facilities
- Provide an interface between sales and customer service to operations and distribution centers
- Monitor slow moving or aging inventory and work with sales to drive orders or work with finance to disposition
- Utilize the EnerSys Operating System (EOS) tools to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations or customer service
- Proficient with ERP systems (Baan preferred, but SAP, Syteline or other also considered)
- Adept with Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional activities in a global, matrixed organization
- APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or similar industry certifications preferred
- Experience with Baan
