Claims Verification Paralegal

• Assists the attorneys in answering interrogatories and preparing motions, complaints, briefs and other legal documents
• Performs all types of legal support work assigned research as permitted by the rules of the State Bar
• Obtains, reviews and summarizes medical records at the direction of trial attorneys and has them reviewed by experts as necessary
• Arranges for medical examinations

• Assist with document collection processes, including identifying documents responsive to discovery requests, and overseeing document production.
• E-file documents in various courts and administrative agencies, including but not limited to all Federal Courts, U.S. Court of Appeals (all Circuits), USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the Forum (domain name dispute proceedings), and state court.
• Perform factual and legal cite checking of motions and briefs utilizing key cite checking authorities.
