Engineering Manager

• Define and execute domain-specific engineering strategies aligned to a shared platform vision
• Lead architecture, development, and scalability of core platform services, voice/telephony systems, or reliability and quality functions
• Oversee voice technologies (e.g., routing, IVR, real-time communications) where applicable
• Drive platform performance, resilience, and scalability to meet enterprise demands
• Establish and enforce best practices in reliability engineering, including SLAs/SLOs, observability, and incident management
• Champion a culture of quality through automated testing, performance engineering, and continuous improvement
• Ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery through Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Build and lead high-performing engineering organizations, including senior leaders and distributed teams
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, CX, Infrastructure, and Security to align priorities and outcomes
• Collaborate closely with peer VPs to ensure seamless integration across platform components
• Manage vendor relationships and external technology partners where applicable
• Communicate strategy, progress, and risks to executive stakeholders

VP of Engineering, Contact Center

• Own end-to-end delivery of software developed by the POD, ensuring timely releases that meet agreed-upon business requirements and quality standards.
• Partner with business owners to define priorities, clarify requirements, and align deliverables with strategic objectives.
• Monitor progress against commitments, proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and resources constraints.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and reliable leveraging best practices / patterns / standards of design and architecture.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the POD team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement (through experimentation and learning).
• Manage staffing; including recruitment, performance management, and professional development for direct and dotted-line resources.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing to maintain high-quality releases.
• Provide technical coaching and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career growth.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the POD and business stakeholders when there are escalations from the product owner (or team).
• Proactively collaborate with other development managers to resolve cross-team dependencies and maintain alignment with enterprise technology strategy.

Manager, Software Development

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of 10+ software engineers and engineering managers across multiple agile squads, fostering a culture of continuous learning, inclusivity, and high performance.
• Guide the technical vision for FuzeRx’s core B2B and consumer-facing platforms, ensuring highly available and secure solutions leveraging our primary tech stack (Ruby on Rails, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, AWS).
• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for your domain, ensuring predictable delivery of features that drive API-powered prescription fulfillment and pharmacy logistics.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Pharmacy Operations, Design, and QA to translate complex healthcare compliance and patient-care requirements into technical roadmaps and actionable sprints.
• Champion engineering best practices that adhere to strict industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2), ensuring patient data security, secure messaging, and privacy are woven into the fabric of our codebase.
• Establish and track key engineering metrics (e.g., DORA metrics, system uptime, bug resolution rates) to drive continuous improvement in engineering efficiency and pharmacy system reliability.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for critical system outages or security incidents, leading root-cause analyses and implementing preventive measures.
• Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and cloud infrastructure costs effectively to support sustainable scale.
