Electrical Engineer

• Design AC specifications & SLD, DC power systems, earthing & lightning protection, and equipment/shelter configuration as per carrier requirements
• Assess AC and DC cable sizing, PSU battery reserves, shelter/ODU/equipment room heat loads & cooling, soil resistivity tests, and site AC maximum demand calculations
• Review designs for compliance with relevant carrier specifications, Australian Standards, and local state SIRs
• Provide engineering support throughout the project delivery lifecycle from design to build and acceptance
• Work with construction teams to resolve site issues and incorporate buildability feedback in future designs
• Liaise and negotiate with Supply Authorities for new connection requests or upgrades
• Mentor junior engineers

• Design and deliver advanced Substation Secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (up to 500kV)
• Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance procedures and technical standards
• Lead and manage engineering projects within defined scopes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery

• Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition and cost estimation

Electrical Engineer – Secondary Systems

• Apply mechanical and electrical engineering principles to independently develop system designs that meet project specifications and incorporate RAM principles
• Develop and refine design components with supervision, ensuring alignment with overall system requirements
• Use modelling and simulation tools to optimise and validate system performance and Compliance, prepare and review technical documentation, including design drawings, reports, and specifications
• Perform Safety in Design assessments and integrate safety considerations into design decisions
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, controls, and communications systems
• Coordinate effectively across disciplines to ensure design integration and resolve interface issues

Senior Electrical Engineer, HV/Primary

• Manage the full design lifecycle of complex systems, from concept through integration and Validation including resolving design conflicts and ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and regulatory standards
• Apply RAM principles to enhance system maintainability, availability, and reliability
• Lead Value Engineering and Whole of Life assessments to improve cost-effectiveness and Sustainability ensuring engineering systems processes are integrated seamlessly
• Resolve major design control challenges and lead problem-solving efforts for complex technical challenges, balancing project constraints such as cost, time, and quality

Lead Electrical Engineer, Transmission Lines

• Assist the Engineering team in the maintenance of the ship's electrical equipment
• Maintenance of all electrical motors onboard, generators, main switch board and emergency, switchboard
• Fire alarm system including fire detectors, general alarm system, PA system, onboard mother vessel and tender boats
• AV/IT systems, navigation lights and navigation equipment on mother vessel and tender boats
• All batteries fitted on mother vessel and tender boats, air condition system
• Rectifying electrical defects recorded in the hotel defect book daily
• Responsible for refrigeration system and testing of IAS system as required by Class
• Engine room tours and dining with Guests
• Maintenance and upkeep of manuals/drawing as required by AMSA and Class

Power Systems Engineer – Team Leader

• Review of Balance of Plant (BoP) design, drawing, and document submissions from sub contractors against industry best practice, law, international, and local standards.
• Support power system studies to define wind farm generator performance standards and develop the wind farm control system functional design specification.
• Simulation and modeling of the wind Power Plant including WTG, PV, and storage.
• Research and prepare formal responses to inquiries regarding wind farm technical performance.
• Ensure grid connection deliverables required to be submitted by Vestas are provided in a timely, safe and high-quality manner.
• Assessing the performance, efficiency, and reliability of the balance of plant systems specific to renewable energy projects.
• Identifying and resolving issues and inefficiencies within the balance of plant systems.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure grid connection issues are resolved promptly.
• Engage and manage consultants when required.
• Attend and provide input to various safety, design, technical, and risk meetings, workshops, and reviews.
• Documentation and Reporting- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document all grid connection activities, milestones, and outcomes.

Lead Power Systems Engineer

• Contribute to the design and documentation of building services electrical systems including lighting and controls, general and specialist power, main switchboards, distribution systems, earthing and lightning protection, emergency and exit lighting, and essential services systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and schedules in accordance with Australian Standards and project requirements.
• Support the delivery of coordinated, multi-disciplinary design solutions across mechanical, hydraulic, fire and structural teams.
• Assist with design reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards, NCC requirements and authority regulations.
• Participate, with supervision, in client meetings and provide technical input during design development.
• Undertake site inspections and support construction-phase services.

• Provide technical leadership across the design and delivery of electrical systems for major water infrastructure projects
• Work closely with mechanical, civil and process engineers, as well as suppliers and subcontractors
• Lead and support front-end electrical engineering (tender and design) to meet project requirements, standards and client expectations
• Provide technical input into EPC delivery, including engineering, procurement support, construction planning and commissioning readiness
• Develop and implement project methods, including identification of temporary works and responsibilities for design, checking, inspection and maintenance
• Manage schedules and critical path items by planning resources, risk, sequencing and logistics to mitigate delays
