About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions that meet client requirements, project objectives, and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in electrical design systems, methodologies, and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage engineering budgets, resources, schedules, and workloads to achieve project targets for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Lead and review electrical design activities, including studies, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and design documentation.
- Support tendering, estimating, and project execution activities through the provision of technical expertise and engineering guidance.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure technical accuracy, compliance with Australian and international standards, and alignment with Sedgman requirements.
- Contribute to quality management initiatives and the ongoing improvement of engineering processes, standards, and systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) accreditation (as per local requirements).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an engineering design, consultancy or operational environment.
- Proven experience working on mineral processing projects.
- Strong technical design capability and ability to lead and review engineering work.
