About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and deliver advanced Substation Secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (up to 500kV)
Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance procedures and technical standards
Lead and manage engineering projects within defined scopes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
Foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, primary electrical)
Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition and cost estimation
Engage with regional clients, providing expert technical advice and supporting business growth
Mentor and develop junior engineers, enhancing our team's capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required)
Experience in High Voltage Secondary Substation design and project delivery (highly desirable is previous experience with Transgrid projects)
Proven ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients
Demonstrated capability in managing and providing technical leadership to design teams, including Global Delivery Centres
Strong track record in managing design projects in compliance with quality management systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
