• Handle inbound calls from customers
• Taking payments on customer wireless, wireline and connect accounts
• Managing customer accounts by sending invoices, setting up autopay and ensuring the accounts do not get suspended
• Corrects any deficiencies or oversights as outlined by management and/or quality control
• Maintains good public relations
• Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
• Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals

Collections Representative

• Counseling borrowers on methods for bringing their loan current and/or exploring alternative solutions.
• Contact borrowers in the early stages (1-59 days) of the delinquency cycle and negotiate payment arrangement to bring borrowers current.
• Reviewing the borrower’s current financial situation and offering additional options depending on the circumstance.
• Provide support to inbound Customer Service on high inbound volume days.
• Assist with various servicing functions including payment/credit disputes, escrow refunds/shortage, loss draft, short sale, Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, modification/refinance requests, repayment plans, and additional mortgages activities.

Bilingual Collections Specialist I, Early Stage

• Develops and implements collections strategies to effectively manage delinquencies and losses while maximizing member retention
• Establishes goals and performance metrics aligned with the organization’s lending strategy and risk tolerance
• Monitors and analyzes collection performance and trends, adjusts strategies as necessary
• Leads and manages a diverse team of management and staff-level employees across collections
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Lending, Risk Management, Fraud, and other stakeholders
• Maintains knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to collections practices
• Represents the credit union in legal proceedings related to collections activities
• Prepares and delivers regular reports to senior management on collections performance

Vice President, Collections

• Coordinates and facilitates patient billing and collection activities
• Researching and holding payers accountable
• Resolving outstanding issues with insurance payers
• Builds strong working relationships with assigned business units
• Responds to incoming calls and makes outbound calls to resolve billing issues
• Works independently under general supervision
