Application Engineer

• Oversee the application of new and in-service products used by customers in the basic metals industry
• Plan field trials in conjunction with the Fuchs sales force and customer prior to product introduction, including the setting of trial protocols, measurement of performance and data collection over the course of the trial period
• Periodic measurement of product groups already in service and recommending improvements in product performance
• Lead field trials and technical evaluations for new and existing products, including troubleshooting performance issues and delivering clear, concise field reports
• Serve as the technical application expert for customers and internal teams by providing product recommendations, technical problem-solving, training, and application support
• Interface directly with customers to understand operational needs, support product approvals, strengthen long-term relationships, and demonstrate commitment to ongoing product development
• Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to identify market-driven product opportunities, support new product development, and contribute to product launch initiatives
• Support strategic business development and sales efforts by delivering competitive market insights, technical expertise, and application knowledge to drive growth within target accounts
• Act as a key liaison between customers, sales, product management, and laboratory teams while contributing to cross-functional strategy development and project execution

Application Engineer – Metalworking

• Act as a hands-on liaison between Finance & Accounting, IT, and external vendors for assigned applications, coordinating issue resolution, system maintenance, and enhancement delivery.
• Administer, configure, and support the day-to-day operation of Elite 3E and the firm's integrated finance applications supporting billing, accounting, expense management, time entry, cash receipts, and financial reporting.
• Support system configuration, role-based security, user provisioning, on/offboarding, templates, master data, and change control for applications and platforms under team purview.
• Design, build, test, and support finance-related integrations and interfaces, including Boomi jobs, bank and ACH connections, data imports and exports, reporting feeds, and other upstream/downstream system dependencies.
• Develop and maintain queries, reports, dashboards, extracts, and reconciliations that provide accurate and timely financial data to Finance, Accounting, and firm leadership.
• Monitor application performance, scheduled jobs, and interface processing; troubleshoot failures, analyze root cause, and coordinate timely recovery or permanent resolution.
• Partner closely with Finance and operations teams to support month-end and year-end processing, validate outputs, and resolve data issues affecting financial integrity.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications and participate in solution design, estimation, implementation, and post-deployment support.
• Execute and support testing disciplines, including unit testing, system testing, UAT coordination, release validation, and defect triage for upgrades, patches, fixes, and new functionality.
• Support custom templates, forms, dashboards, workflows, and other configuration or customization objects within the firm's legal financial management platforms.
• Produce and maintain clear documentation for system configuration, integrations, support procedures, release notes, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Billing, Collections, AP, AR, Treasury/Cash Management, IT, Information Security, Data/BI teams, and vendors to deliver stable, secure solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation that reduce manual effort, improve user experience, and strengthen controls and auditability across finance operations.
• Provide responsive application support, knowledge transfer, and user guidance, and participate in after-hours support or critical issue response as needed.

Applications Engineer – Financial Systems

• Build and lead strategic relationships with key influencer customers across regions to drive long-term sales influence.
• Set and execute the influencer strategy, targeting existing priority firms while identifying and cultivating new firms and individuals to expand influence.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert, providing code, standards, and solution guidance to consulting engineers, end users, and sales teams.
• Identify customer needs and market opportunities by leveraging customer insights, market trends, and competitor research to prospect and shape demand.
• Manage opportunity flow, ensuring sales opportunities are identified, reported, tracked in Salesforce, and passed to the appropriate sales owners.
• Create and maintain key influencer account strategies, measuring customer perception, team credibility, and overall impact of influence efforts.
• Act as an industry thought leader and customer advocate, sharing market insights internally, representing the company externally, and aligning influence activities with business targets.

Senior Sales Application Engineer

• Work with other applications engineers, internal sales and/or customers to formulate project material and engineering estimates and final designs for customer applications
• Perform piping, equipment, and other take-offs from mechanical piping isometric, plan, elevation, and general arrangement drawings
• Work in Nelson Design Suites software to evaluate application requirements and create optimized designs and circuit layouts
• Work with project Leaders and other designers to produce technical drawings required for proper installation and documentation of the heating system
• Ensure all application designs meet applicable electrical standards and codes
• Follow all Emerson safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Heat Trace Applications Engineer

• Serve as key Littelfuse point of contact for technical inquiries
• Execute existing corporate go-to-market strategy
• Provide in-depth solution-and application-based expertise
• Manage opportunity funnel, driving opportunities towards multi-technology design wins
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers

Field Application Engineer, Data Center, HVAC, Industrial Equipment

• Put customers first by understanding their challenges and identifying effective technical solutions
• Support customer applications involving pneumatics, fieldbus systems, I/O, and electric actuation
• Provide hands‑on support during startup and commissioning of new applications
• Create and deliver engaging product and solution demonstrations
• Present technical workshops to customers and formal training courses to Emerson teams
• Conduct plant tours, site inspections, and customer visits

• Serve as a primary liaison between the Cybersecurity and development teams, ensuring security is integrated into design, development, deployment, and operations.
• Conduct application security assessments, code reviews, API testing, threat modeling, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Define, maintain, and enforce secure coding standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Integrate and manage security tooling within CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, and container security solutions.
• Support secure architecture reviews for cloud‑native applications, microservices, and containerized workloads.
• Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews for applications.
