About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Determine and document the technical and commercial requirements of the customers application
  • Select the appropriate G&W product to meet these requirements
  • Develop accurate cost models for both standard and custom equipment
  • Determine price levels and lead times
  • Partner with customers and our Engineering team to develop custom solutions that satisfy their needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our internal resources and Sales Team
  • Provide timely and effective verbal and written communication to our internal resources and Sales Team
  • Communicate these requirements to G&Ws internal teams for engineering and manufacturing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from four-year accredited college
  • A concentration in Power Engineering is highly desired
  • Has strong computer proficiency
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills
  • Ideally has experience with switchgear, reclosers, SF6 insulated and dielectric insulated switches
