Accounting Manager

• Ensures compliance with Company and regulatory policies and procedures while fostering an engaging environment
• Responsible for the complete development of Eversource Billing Representatives through coaching and evaluative performance feedback
• Implements all approved customer billing policies, procedures and standards in assigned region
• Schedules and coordinates for assigned regional, such as customer billing and review of daily exception reports
• Supervises daily billing activities which include processing input documents, monitoring productivity
• Coordinates and controls billing and accounting activities with affected departments
• Coordinates and oversees customer billing activities among the region's district business offices and affected departments (field and staff)
• Resolves, as assigned, more complicated or sensitive matters resulting from customer billing problems or complaints
• Verifies uniform applications of billing policies and procedures
• Supervises and maintains security for customer billing records, in assigned region, as required by regulations
• Performs regional on-call duties as assigned, by responding to and resolving customer complaints regarding storms
• Reviews CS daily reports for billing problems or unusual billing conditions
• Supervises the preparation of billing reports requested by staff and Regional Administration
• Provides supervision in the carrying out of policies and procedures
• Participate in interviewing, writing and delivering reviews and coaching REPS when needed

Supervisor, Customer Billing and Accounting

• Manage all aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax and payroll processing functions, stepping in to assist where needed
• Complete day-to-day treasury functions
• Partner with Revenue Operations and Customer Success to implement processes for accurate invoicing
• Assist with preparation of data reconciliation between CRM (Salesforce) and billing system (Maxio)
• Work closely with People Ops team to understand expected changes to headcount and related accounting impact
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and other financial reporting schedules required by executive leadership team
• Coordinate with subsidiary accounting personnel to maintain an accurate understanding of subsidiary activity and intercompany transactions
• Review monthly subsidiary financials to ensure intercompany transactions are accounted for correctly and eliminated upon consolidation
• Support budgeting and forecasting through collaboration with FP&A and department leads
• Coordinate with third-party tax service providers in preparation of annual tax returns to ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate with auditors for completion of statutory audits where applicable
• Identify and implement changes to the close process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies

Senior Accounting Manager

• Provide leadership in the continued development, expansion, and execution of BerryDunn’s healthcare outsourced accounting services, including contributing to service strategy, pricing models, and business planning
• Serve as a primary client relationship leader for HC-OAS engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations on accounting, finance, and operational matters
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals dedicated to healthcare outsourced accounting services, including coaching, performance management, workload planning, and professional development
• Oversee and actively participate in the delivery of healthcare outsourced accounting services, including general ledger oversight, month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide oversight of outsourced accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and internal controls support
• Review and interpret financial results with client leadership teams, translating financial information into actionable insights and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with BerryDunn’s broader Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) team to align resources, share best practices, and enhance consistency and quality of service delivery
• Build healthcare-specific accounting knowledge across the OAS team, including reimbursement considerations, regulatory compliance impacts, and industry benchmarks
• Participate in client proposals, presentations, and business development efforts related to healthcare outsourced accounting services
• Provide consultative support to healthcare clients, including financial feasibility analysis, process improvement initiatives, and optimization of financial operations

Senior Manager – Healthcare Outsourced Accounting Services

• Serve as the revenue subject matter expert for multiple revenue streams (e.g., marketplace, advertising, subscriptions, and enterprise), including ASC 606 assessments for principal vs. agent, variable consideration, consideration payable to customers, and contract modifications.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, Legal, and Product as the accounting voice in contract review and deal structuring; draft clear, well-supported technical memos and policy documentation.
• Own the monthly and quarterly revenue close, including journal entries, reconciliations, analytics/flux reviews, and disclosures, while operating an effective SOX control environment.
• Lead and continuously improve key revenue processes and controls; coordinate audit and SOX requests, manage PBC deliverables, and drive timely resolution of issues with external auditors.
• Collaborate with FinSys and Data teams to enhance revenue systems, tooling, and data quality (requirements, UAT, and rollouts) to support automation, scale, and accuracy.
• Support new product and pricing initiatives by translating business requirements into compliant accounting outcomes; create training, FAQs, and guidance for cross-functional partners.

Technical Revenue Accounting Manager

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and timely month-end close.
• Manage accounting staff and drive process improvements.
• Support leadership with financial insights that contribute to business decisions.
