Accounting Manager

• Lead the General Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate consolidated information to support internal/corporate reporting requirements.
• Review monthly results, analyze balance sheets, investigate anomalies and monitor complex transaction execution.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance and enhancement of a strong SOX compliant control environment in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues at the OpCo level as well as act as a US GAAP technical resource to financial operations as required.
• Draft whitepapers to support accounting positions and related conclusions.
• Support business audits conducted by external and internal auditors, as required.

Director of Accounting

• Own inventory accounting and COGS globally, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support.
• Own judgment-based inventory estimates, including excess & obsolete (E&O) and warranty reserves, including methodology design, assumptions, governance, documentation, and final review/sign-off in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Serve as the final decision-maker for inventory accounting policy, methodologies, and judgment-based estimates, ensuring consistent application and governance across the organization.
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Product, FP&A, and Finance Systems to align financial outcomes with operational realities and inform business decisions.
• Lead COGS and gross margin analysis, translating financial results into clear insights and actions for leadership and stakeholders.
• Act as a finance partner to non-finance teams, translating inventory and cost accounting concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Own the finance transformation roadmap related to inventory accounting, including future-state process design, system architecture, and automation strategy; partner with Finance Systems and cross-functional stakeholders to scale inventory accounting through ERP optimization, data integrity, and workflow automation.
• Own inventory capitalization and COGS allocation frameworks, ensuring consistent application of accounting policy as the company scales.
• Actively participate in modifying and updating ŌURA’s ASC 705 Cost of Sales and Services policy to reflect the company's changing needs.
• Drive operational efficiency and scalability by simplifying, standardizing, and automating inventory accounting workflows.
• Strengthen inventory-related internal controls, physical inventory processes, and audit readiness, including SOX-aligned documentation and control design.
• Lead the relationship with external auditors for all inventory and COGS matters, serving as the primary subject matter expert for technical accounting positions and complex audit inquiries.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including goal setting, performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
• Act as a change leader and thought partner, designing and implementing future-state inventory accounting processes and operating models.
• Provide leadership support to the Accounting organization on ad-hoc initiatives, complex problem solving, and strategic priorities, bringing a holistic view across policy, systems, controls, and business impact.

Senior Accounting Manager

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of all external financial statements (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and XBRL requirements.
• Establish, operationalize, and ruthlessly enforce a highly prescriptive, predictable, and transparent global financial reporting calendar. Coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Investor Relations, and Operations to ensure flawless execution.
• Partner closely with Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to review earnings releases, investor scripts, and supporting financial schedules.
• Serve as the definitive internal expert on complex accounting issues. Proactively evaluate the accounting impact of strategic transactions, including M&A, complex revenue recognition (including hardware + SaaS models), inventory, debt/equity transactions, and share-based compensation.
• Author, update, and maintain ŌURA's Global Accounting Policy Manual, ensuring consistent application across all business units.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors on technical accounting matters and SEC disclosures, driving swift and alignment-focused resolutions.
• Oversee the end-to-end global stock administration function, ensuring flawless execution of equity grants, exercises, cancellations, and settlements across all global entities.
• Direct the complex technical accounting for share-based compensation (ASC 718), including valuation models, financial statement disclosures, and EPS calculations. Partner with Legal and HR to ensure robust equity plan governance and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Drive the vision, selection, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge financial reporting technologies to automate and streamline the close-to-report lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional automation initiatives to eliminate manual workflows, institutionalize data integrity, and significantly compress the external reporting timeline while mitigating reporting risk.
• Oversee the continuous design, implementation, and testing of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), transitioning the organization from an early-stage framework to a mature, sustainable SOX compliance model.
• Identify operational and financial reporting risks, implementing automated controls and process efficiencies wherever possible.
• Oversee international reporting requirements and coordinate local statutory audits for ŌURA's global subsidiaries, ensuring seamless alignment with consolidated US GAAP reporting.
• Partner with the Tax and Treasury teams to ensure proper accounting for intercompany agreements, transfer pricing, and foreign currency matters.
• Recruit, retain, and actively mentor a high-performing team of technical accounting, reporting, and stock administration professionals. Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment anchored in continuous learning, professional development, and high accountability.

Senior Director, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting

• Manage all aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax and payroll processing functions, stepping in to assist where needed
• Complete day-to-day treasury functions
• Partner with Revenue Operations and Customer Success to implement processes for accurate invoicing
• Assist with preparation of data reconciliation between CRM (Salesforce) and billing system (Maxio)
• Work closely with People Ops team to understand expected changes to headcount and related accounting impact
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and other financial reporting schedules required by executive leadership team
• Coordinate with subsidiary accounting personnel to maintain an accurate understanding of subsidiary activity and intercompany transactions
• Review monthly subsidiary financials to ensure intercompany transactions are accounted for correctly and eliminated upon consolidation
• Support budgeting and forecasting through collaboration with FP&A and department leads

• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for fixed asset transactions, lease activity, and capital expenditures, as well as assist with other general accounting areas and special projects as assigned.

• Lead the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of end to end accounting processes to support scalability, consistency, and strong internal controls.
• Establish and maintain clear process documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal controls across accounting functions.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and automation opportunities; drive process improvements in collaboration with cross functional teams.
• Partner with Global Accounting to unify, standardize, and improve accounting processes across locations and business units.
• Support the integration of acquisitions by aligning new entities to established accounting processes, controls, and systems.
• Develop, mentor, and coach accounting team members to build technical capability, accountability, and future leadership capacity.

• Process financial transactions (A/P, A/R, and Payroll) in an accurate and timely manner
