Own the maintenance of existing data pipelines, primarily within Google Colab
Build new pipelines to support sales data initiatives
Support the team's transition from manual scripting to automated workflow orchestration using Airflow
Execute daily technical processes, including distill coverage and publishing events from scripts
Act as the technical SME for the sales team, ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights
Work closely with the broader team on core initiatives, participating in research syncs to understand the why behind the data

Requirements

A foundational understanding of biological sciences (e.g., Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, or Molecular Biology)
Proficiency in Python, specifically for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy)
Experience with Google Colab highly preferred
Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
Ability to act as a technical SME for the sales team, explaining technical data processes clearly
High bar for data integrity and enjoyment in auditing large datasets for accuracy
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Registered full-time or part-time under a co-operative education program in a publicly funded Ontario post-secondary institution
A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
