About the role
- Oversee payroll processing by the team in Vietnam for bi-weekly payroll for approximately 600 U.S. employees (exempt and non-exempt)
- Oversee benefits administration, including open enrollment, broker relationships, and data-driven program evaluation
- Serve as the lead administrator for ADP (HRIS), maintaining data integrity and ensuring efficient processing
- Lead all employee lifecycle activities—onboarding, promotions, job changes, and separations—with a focus on delivering a seamless employee experience
- Oversee leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and applicable state requirements
- Administer the company’s 401(k) plan and manage related employee communications
- Coordinate responses for employment verifications, unemployment, and workers’ compensation claims
- Conduct engaging new hire orientations and support internal HR communications initiatives
- Partner with HR leadership to refine HR policies, enhance processes, and introduce best practices
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship for a global support team based in Vietnam
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus
- 4–5 years of experience managing payroll, benefits, or HR operations—ideally in a retail or multi-site environment
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Authentic leadership style with the ability to connect, motivate, and develop team members across time zones
- High level of integrity, discretion, and accountability in handling sensitive information
