About the role
- Responsible for driving revenue growth and increased market share for retrofit sales within an assigned territory.
- Establish end-user relationships via consultative sales methods to guide customers along their preferred path of purchase and effectively drive retrofit business growth across all channels.
- Build and manage an ambitious sales funnel, leveraging CRM for account management, forecasting, daily work, and next step actions; ensuring KPIs are met and accurately tracked.
- Identify key decision makers and influencers of the decision-making process to drive the sale and/or spec conversion.
- Leverage technical product expertise to educate on new products, recommend spec upgrades, and align customer needs to the benefits of ZE products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience required; Advanced degree a plus.
- 5 years business development / account management experience with B2B.
- Industry exposure to Plumbing, Construction, Home Improvement, or startups a plus.
- Knowledge of direct manufacturing sales, 2-step distribution (retail / wholesale), rep agencies, and their related materials purchasing pathways is essential.
