About the role
- Responsible for multiple large construction accounts within the region
- Adapt Zurich's Innovative Solutions to the Construction Industry to minimize impacts to customer losses and improve Sustainability & Business Resiliency at the Corporate Level
- Leverage Zurich’s risk engineering tools and services to improve customer risk and general account management of customers purchasing Zurich Construction Insurance products
- Deliver high quality consultative services for customers including identifying exposures and program risk control gaps and forming risk mitigation recommendations
- Investigate causes/effects of major losses for hazard/safety management programs
- Develop and maintain positive customer and business partner relationships and collaborate with customers to develop service plans
- Market and sell various fee services to support customer risk mitigation efforts
- Produce advanced level presentations and deliver risk management training for customers and internal partners
- Conduct loss investigations and implement risk improvement programs
- Assist customers in developing corporate and project-specific QA/QC plans, safety plans, etc.
- Participate in Sales Team meetings and presentations to brokers and customers
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and 6+ years of experience in Construction Risk Engineering, Safety/ Risk Management, or Construction Field Operations OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8+ years of experience in these fields OR Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 6+ years of experience in these fields
- Preferred: Degree in Engineering, Health and Safety, Risk Management, or Construction Management or related degree
- Experience in Construction Corporate Safety, Project Management, and/or Superintendent roles in a mid to senior level position
- Advanced level knowledge of construction safety, operations, quality management and associated risks
- Professional certifications: CSP, ARM, CHST
- High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and IOS
- Proficiency in technical writing for customer and internal work products
- Experience in both independent and team environments
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and consulting skills
