About the role

  • You lead and develop governance and compliance processes and establish a sustainable network, monitoring and processes within the Brokers, Direct & Partnerships (BD&P) business unit.
  • You translate legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies, into practical solutions for the business.
  • You support the internal control system (ICS) and contribute your subject-matter expertise.
  • You ensure clear communication between Legal, Compliance and the business leads within BD&P.
  • You coordinate diverse stakeholders, promote collaboration across the company and, when required, provide training to business colleagues on governance and compliance topics.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in law or economics/business administration, possibly with a specialization in governance/compliance, or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience dealing with regulatory requirements and the functioning of internal control systems (ICS), and an interest in governance and compliance issues in insurance distribution
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and appropriately for different audiences and levels
  • Highly self-motivated with strong teamwork skills, detail-oriented and a systems-thinking mindset
  • Excellent German and English skills; additional local/national languages are an advantage
