About the role
- Provide support for finalization and agreement of category management savings plans
- Ensure execution of category management savings plans and improving the increase in managed spend
- Manage country savings commitments as per the business case
- Serve as the PSCM Manager for Canada, fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with local business units
- Ensure all aspects of compliance, performance, planning and category management are optimized
- Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or schedules
- Deliver project, program and change management initiatives by leading project teams
- Monitor consistent non-compliance issues escalated by other team members
- Evaluate the most complex customer issues and analyze key themes from a wide range of internal and external data sources
- Lead the implementation of system and process improvements
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and vendors / suppliers
- Develop and manage ongoing relationships with key stakeholders/customers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 or more years of experience in the Procurement area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 10 or more years of experience in the Procurement area
