About the role

  • Provide support for finalization and agreement of category management savings plans
  • Ensure execution of category management savings plans and improving the increase in managed spend
  • Manage country savings commitments as per the business case
  • Serve as the PSCM Manager for Canada, fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with local business units
  • Ensure all aspects of compliance, performance, planning and category management are optimized
  • Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or schedules
  • Deliver project, program and change management initiatives by leading project teams
  • Monitor consistent non-compliance issues escalated by other team members
  • Evaluate the most complex customer issues and analyze key themes from a wide range of internal and external data sources
  • Lead the implementation of system and process improvements
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and vendors / suppliers
  • Develop and manage ongoing relationships with key stakeholders/customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8 or more years of experience in the Procurement area OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 10 or more years of experience in the Procurement area
