About the role
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, suppliers, and brokers, to provide a quality claims experience.
- Apply knowledge of established protocols and industry best practices to resolve claims effectively.
- Deliver customer-centric service while managing claims within defined authority limits.
- Develop expertise in coverage analysis and auto policy interpretation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience in Claims Handling or Insurance OR Completion of the Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including an Associate Degree) with 2+ years of experience in Claims Handling or Insurance OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 4+ years of experience in Claims Handling or Insurance
- Prior experience in auto claims handling, insurance claims, or a related customer service field.
- Understanding of auto insurance policies, coverage, and state regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
