About the role
- Provide sales & marketing and underwriting services to Local Broker & Agent producers
- Support the Relationship Management team in business development / producer management
- Keep up the growth / develop distribution channels and monitor their performance
- Liaise with underwriting centres for the matters of underwriting and renewal business follow-up
- Work closely with all related internal parties in handling/follow-up quotations, policy documents, renewals, premium collection and help to answer producers’ enquiries as necessary
- Participate in producers’ external meetings, new product launch as necessary
- Monitor the overdue premium to comply with company credit control policy
- Assist managers on project analysis and reporting
- Willing to take other new responsibilities as assigned by managers
Requirements
- Degree Holder
- ANZIIF & Finance – Senior Associate is preferred
- Minimum 2 years practical work experience in General Insurance
- Good interpersonal skills and business network with local brokers and agents
- Sound GI product or claims knowledge
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
