About the role
- Working in an actuarial role from day one, gaining experience alongside a team of actuaries
- Rotating between teams to gain understanding of actuarial work
- Analyzing data using actuarial software and programming languages
- Projecting financial results using expert actuarial judgements
- Communicating results to key stakeholders to inform business decisions
- Continuously improving processes, including use of predictive analytics
- Analyzing business exposure to risks
Requirements
- Minimum 2:1 in a Maths-based subject (e.g. mathematics, statistics, engineering, chemistry and physics)
- Minimum C/4 grade in English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)
- At least 128 UCAS points in three A-levels including an A in Maths
- Must be comfortable with maths and have a logical mindset
- Strong IT skills, knowledge of Excel is preferable (but not essential)
- Effective personal planning and organisation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Professional attitude and positive approach to work
