About the role
- Provide overall support to the transaction lead
- Identify and execute exit strategies to maximize shareholder growth
- Ensure that the business operates efficiently and maintain service levels during portfolio exit preparation
- Collaborate with local BU staff to evaluate portfolio characteristics
- Analyze underlying data in the portfolio to identify value for potential buyers
- Manage sell-side transaction processes up to execution
- Prepare sale documentation and manage buyer access requests
- Support internal and external communication plans for the team involved in portfolio exit
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Buy or sell-side project management experience in a corporate M&A environment, including due diligence processes
- Insurance finance & accounting knowledge with emphasis on M&A and reinsurance transaction experience
- Interest in, and ability to, research companies and markets
- Working knowledge of the legacy insurance/reinsurance market.
