About the role

  • You will work in the team responsible for the Zurich Pension Foundation’s yield properties, consisting of the Portfolio Manager as well as Asset and Construction Managers
  • You are responsible for the results-oriented and proactive asset management of an assigned portfolio across Switzerland, including Romandy
  • In addition to your core asset management responsibilities, you will act as deputy to the Portfolio Manager
  • Together with Portfolio Management you define property strategies and develop aligned business plans which you implement operationally
  • Together with the construction managers in your team, you develop refurbishment projects, renovations, densification/infill projects and replacement new-builds, obtain the necessary committee decisions and implement them consistently
  • You commission and supervise external service providers such as external property managers, marketing/letting agents and external lawyers

Requirements

  • University degree or professional qualification in Architecture, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or Law, plus relevant further education (e.g. IFZ, CUREM)
  • At least 5 years of asset management experience in the oversight of income-producing properties (residential, office and retail) across Switzerland for an institutional investor
  • Initial experience in portfolio management with strong numerical, reporting and analytical skills
  • Experience in designing, planning and executing major refurbishment and development projects, as well as supporting transaction projects
  • Initiative, independence, decisiveness, strong commitment and assertiveness
  • Excellent German and good, practice-proven French language skills
