About the role
- Represent the commercial insureds of a prestigious commercial insurance carrier
- Prepare and try moderate to high exposure General Liability, Commercial Auto and Products Liability cases
- Engage in all aspects of insurance defense including legal analysis and advice
- Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents
- Conduct pre-trial discovery and handle hearings and trials
Requirements
- Juris Doctor
- 5 or more years of experience in the Litigation area
- Member in good standing of the California State Bar Association
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Experience working with Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance defense litigation legal environment
- Knowledge of the law and procedure
