About the role
- Execute designs for specific features and user flows - Working from product requirements and design direction from senior designers, you'll create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for designated components, using Figma's full capabilities to move from concept to polished interface.
- Communicate and collaborate across teams - You'll partner with product managers to understand requirements and contribute design insights, while presenting your work to the team and incorporating feedback through multiple iterations. You'll work closely with engineers to ensure your designs are technically feasible and well-implemented.
- Solve design problems within project scope - When given clear direction and context, you'll work through complex design challenges, think through various use cases, and explore alternative solutions while staying within timeline and project constraints. You'll know when to ask questions and when to move forward independently.
- Participate in user research and apply insights - Join user interviews and testing sessions led by senior team members, help synthesize findings, and translate user insights into practical design improvements for your assigned features.
- Contribute to our design system - Work effectively within existing design patterns and guidelines, propose new components when appropriate, and help maintain consistency across your work and the broader platform.
Requirements
- Fluent Hungarian and English language knowledge.
- 2-4 years of product design experience - You've contributed to shipping digital products, preferably in B2B SaaS environments. You understand how design fits into the product development process and are comfortable working within established design processes while contributing creative solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and design execution - You're comfortable working on complex problems when given clear context, thinking through use cases and alternative solutions while staying within project scope and timeline. You can take clear requirements and design direction and turn them into polished, user-friendly solutions.
- Collaborative communication style - You work well within team structures, communicate your design decisions clearly, and are comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders. You know when to ask questions and when to move forward independently.
- Practical technical collaboration - You understand basic web and mobile constraints and can have productive conversations with engineers about implementation. You don't need to code, but you should understand feasibility and be able to adapt designs based on technical feedback.
- Proficient in Figma and prototyping - You're comfortable using Figma to create everything from quick wireframes to detailed mockups to interactive prototypes.
- User-focused approach - You understand the importance of user research and can participate effectively in user interviews and testing sessions. You're skilled at translating user insights into design improvements, even when you're not leading the research effort.
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn - You're motivated to advance your design skills and career, actively seeking feedback and learning opportunities. You're excited about growing with a fast-moving startup and developing expertise in areas like AI product design and B2B user experience.
