About the role
- Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company (mostly software engineering).
- Managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates to ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Organizing and supporting recruitment/employer branding-focused events (e.g. meetups, conferences, career events), including coordinating logistics and strengthening the company’s on-site and online presence.
- Driving employer branding activities on social media by contributing to and managing recruitment-related content that promotes the company as an attractive place to work.
- Collaborating with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
- Utilizing various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, and networking events, to build a diverse candidate pipeline.
- Maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate information and compliance with hiring policies.
- Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve the hiring process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with proven success in hiring for IT positions (Software Engineering, Data, DevOps).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hungarian.
- Proactive in supporting and driving employer branding initiatives, including organizing and boosting presence at meetups, conferences, and other talent-focused events, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally within a startup or tech company.
- Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and tools, including social media platforms, networking, and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in managing multiple open positions simultaneously.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the initiative to identify issues and suggest improvements to enhance the recruitment process.
