Maintain and enhance Zip's consolidated financial models
Build ad hoc models and analyses to support key business decisions
Conduct variance analysis on actuals vs. budget/forecast
Be a key contributor in owning and managing our cash flow model
Play an active role in Zip's annual planning process
Support the quarterly re-forecast process
Be one of our main administrators and help maintain and improve our financial planning tool
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial packages for leadership and the board
Track and report on key financial and operating metrics
Help build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure
Support financial partnership with HR and Real Estate teams
Respond to ad hoc requests from G&A leaders with timely analysis and clear recommendations

Requirements

3-6 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a similar analytical finance role
Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets modeling skills
Familiarity with SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40) is highly preferred
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Clear communicator, both in writing and in conversation
Curious and proactive
Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) and/or SQL is a plus
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous startup environment
