About the role
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans thoroughly (both manual and automated) to qualify product releases and features
- Report bugs and errors using Asana with in-depth details to help the engineering team identify and fix the issue
- Take ownership of test outcomes, track defects, and follow up to ensure that our customers have a high-quality product experience
- Conduct root cause analysis on bugs and refine test plans to prevent similar future bugs
- Work closely with engineering and product teams on troubleshooting as well as new test case development
- Conduct exploratory testing to find new edge cases / bugs, and further enrich our test plans
- Help up-level product quality across the platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of Quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience
- Experience with automated test frameworks and tools such as Postman, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Pytest
- Experience with QA process, methodologies, and test case management tools such as TestRail
- Experience in Python, Javascript, Java, or equivalent coding language
- Willingness and ability to come into our San Francisco offices on a hybrid basis (3 days / week)
- Experience thriving in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment (nice to have)
- Experience in project management approaches, tools, and phases of a project life cycle (nice to have)
