About the role
- Independently own and drive key analytics initiatives in Human Resources, identifying insights that drive talent strategy, compensation, and retention decisions
- Move beyond basic dashboards; leverage inferential modeling, causal analysis, and experimental design to generate actionable insights; utilize AI as a force multiplier
- Partner with data engineering to integrate systems and drive workflow automation across the HR platform
- Develop frameworks to measure Retention, Employee Engagement, Revenue Per Employee, and other key HR metrics
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations using visual storytelling techniques in Power BI and other visualization tools
- Work closely with stakeholders across HR, Data Engineering, and Product to align analytics initiatives with business needs
- Mentor junior analysts and promote data analysis best practices
- Ensure HR data integrity, privacy, and compliance with global regulatory requirements (GDPR, etc.)
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on Human Resources, Business Strategy, or Process Optimization
- Expertise in SQL and Python
- Strong ability to work with relational cloud databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Experience working with unstructured datasets
- Strong statistical knowledge, including regression analysis, time-series forecasting, and causal inference modeling
- Experience in HR analytics (workforce efficiency, process optimization, compensation modeling, compliance analytics)
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Ability to present insights effectively to leadership
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- BONUS: Experience with ML/AI applications in HR (anomaly detection, predictive modeling, workforce automation)
