About the role
- Primary responsibility is to assist in preparation of financial journal entries and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Prepare and record asset, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Analyze financial data and explain variances to management
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborate closely with departments across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 5-8 years successful accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- History of building strong relationships across teams
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills
