About the role
- Contribute to the evolution and governance of the ZILO design system, managing reusable components that are scalable, accessible, and aligned with our brand.
- Design intuitive user experiences that simplify complex workflows for our users.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure design solutions support product goals and technical feasibility
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that address user needs and business requirements.
- Define and document interaction patterns, UI components, and design standards.
- Design AI-enabled user experiences, ensuring features are intuitive, transparent, and integrated in ways that genuinely support user needs and workflows.
- Conduct user research, concept testing, and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Create personas, journey maps, and flows based on user insights and product data.
- Drives innovative design solutions that transform experiences by solving UX/UI key journeys and tasks
- Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders and development teams.
- Champion accessibility, consistency, and best practices across the product experience.
- Stay informed on competitor products, emerging UX trends, and fintech design standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or complex product environments.
- Proven experience managing or contributing to a design system, including component libraries and documentation.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and problem solving.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping in Figma, with experience working in shared design libraries.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design and productivity tools and an interest in applying emerging technologies to improve design workflows and user experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail with a passion for improving product usability and experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving product needs.
