About the role
- Defend and grow business with assigned customers in North America
- Ensure customer satisfaction in products, price, quality, service, and technology
- Build connections with customer engineering teams and decision-makers
- Manage customer relationships through virtual and in-person meetings (25%-50% travel)
- Support quality and logistics discussions
- Work on new RFQs and ensure timely delivery of offers
- Collaborate with ZF functions to deliver on-time responses
- Solve technical and commercial issues, coordinating internal resources
- Support operational planning and manage price lists and adjustments
- Ensure KPIs are under control and identify new market opportunities
- No direct reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Management (B2B; preferably Tier 1 suppliers)
- Experience in complex/matrix organizations
- Technical knowledge of complex engineering products
- Proactive, assertive, and good communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel in North America (and sometimes overseas)
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to continuous improvement
- Fluent in English
