About the role
- Lead multi-functional business program teams using a product launch process
- Conduct flawless launch of programs - meet deliverables on time, with expected financial and technical performance
- Manage programs as required by business needs
- Develop program gate review documentation and program books in support of process requirements
- Conduct program meetings and management gate reviews
- Serve as primary program contact within ZF and with OEM customers
- Meet/exceed financial performance objectives and manage capital and tooling expenditure appropriation requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Business, or closely related field
- 5 years of experience in development mgmt or project mgmt in the automotive industry
- 2 of 5 yrs exp must include experience line or matrix managing a team within an electronics or software-focused environment
- Project management certification required
- Demonstrated experience with financial management principles, manufacturing processes for automotive electronics, and applying automotive quality and project management frameworks including APQP, PPAP, ISO standards, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, ASPICE, and continuous improvement processes
