About the role

  • Ensure effective implementation of organization and employee effectiveness initiatives, including career development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all Division B and Region North America policies and procedures and all Federal and State employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage payroll, time and attendance, compensation and benefits administration.
  • Facilitate resourcing activities in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Center.
  • Manage employee relations issues.
  • Provide advice and counsel to management in handling employee situations, giving feedback, developing improvement plans, coaching and training.
  • Serve as a change agent and provide organizational direction to managing change.
  • Facilitate affirmative action planning and implementation.
  • Promote communication across all channels.
  • Lead, train, develop, and maintain a professional staff capable of delivering the goals and objectives of the human resources organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources
  • 6+ years progressive human resources experience
  • High level of personal credibility leading to successful partnerships with line management
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Excellent communication, change management, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Thorough understanding of Governmental regulatory compliance requirements.
  • HRIS system experience (i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft, Kronos, etc.) preferred
  • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
