About the role

  • Prepare shipping documentation to include customs declarations and commercial invoice for transmissions and small parts (service and MRO).
  • Receive incoming shipments into the facility: verify part number, quantity, PO number from shipment documents and package labels.
  • Input goods receipts and shipments into SAP and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Maintain records of all received shipments, all outbound shipments, to include customer returns.
  • Clean, organize and ensure 5S standards are maintained in the Shipping/Receiving Office, assuring a safe and sanitary work area.
  • Report damaged goods and/or shortages.
  • Route goods to the proper departments (rework department, return department, quality lab, etc.).
  • Facilitate all carrier contact regarding scheduled deliveries and/or pickups.
  • Use dollies, forklifts, and other PIV to transport shipments from loading dock and around warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required and associates degree preferred.
  • 0-3+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP system.
  • 2+ years of experience with SAP preferred.
  • Good Computer Skills in Microsoft products.
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within shipping and receiving.
  • Basic knowledge of DOT compliance and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally in writing.
  • Forklift license preferred.
