About the role

  • Lead Regional Sales Team, providing daily support, guidance, and oversight on all commercial matters, in line with the team commercial strategy.
  • Approve pricing, commercials, and client-specific deals to ensure alignment with profit and turnover targets, in line with the teams strategy.
  • Conduct monthly 1:1s with each team member to track progress, review KPIs, and develop performance improvement plans where needed.
  • Drive accountability and performance across the team through proactive coaching and clear metric tracking.
  • Oversee and promote accurate and timely management of the Regional sales pipeline, ensuring it reflects real-time activity and opportunities.
  • Provide detailed monthly reporting on pipeline activity, forecasted revenue, and gap-to-target analyses.
  • Support the Sales Director in developing and managing area budgets and sales forecasts for the Regional Team.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and account management, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams, hitting targets, and delivering margin-based growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic sales mindset, including experience with consultative or value-based selling frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
